Minimally Invasive Surgery for Intracerebral Hemorrhage (MIS ICH) Consensus Conference
We would like to welcome you to participate in the Minimally Invasive Surgery Intracranial Hemorrhage Consensus Conference to be held in historic Baltimore, Maryland at Johns Hopkins University in Summer of 2025.
The MIS ICH Consensus Conference will bring together a wide-ranging and comprehensive group of field-leading experts as well as the stroke community at large to define the specific discoveries needed to produce level one evidence regarding the possible value of MIS.
Our internationally recognized key opinion leaders and trialists across the full spectrum of current and past pivotal ICH trials are ready to welcome you to the discussion with the single goal of defining what is needed to promote practice change in utilizing MIS for ICH patients.
Conference participants will help define community equipoise for the entire stroke community and articulate the potential for broadest participation in both the large trial and the platform trial pathways. We envision success if the trial data required for MIS ICH practice change can be accepted by the broadest possible community of stroke physicians and researchers and implemented in the next pivotal trial that enrolls participants to a range of techniques.
Sessions: Date TBD
Baltimore, MD (venue TBD)
Why You Should Attend

Intracranial hemorrhage (ICH) is a major public health problem worldwide without a proven treatment. The role of minimally invasive surgery (MIS) for treatment of ICH is well studied across many individual trials but lacks a joint community approach.
At the MIS ICH Consensus Conference, you’ll join a diverse group of leaders and trialists from current and past pivotal ICH trials with the goal of defining what is needed to promote practice change in using MIS for ICH patients. Attendees will help define equipoise for the entire stroke community and harmonize strategies for a large, definitive trial to potentially bring MIS into practice by changing guidelines.
Conference Vision
We envision success if the trial data required for MIS ICH practice change can be accepted by the broadest possible community of stroke physicians and if this group is willing to initiate a trial or multiple trials within a platform enrolling from a pool of all eligible participants.
