My name is Maria Filippou and I am from Cyprus, a beautiful island in the Eastern Mediterranean. I am an international medical school graduate from the University of Crete in Greece, and I have worked at UCLA the last 2 years as an assistant researcher. My main focus is on research involving MRI and spectroscopy in patients with traumatic brain injury. I feel very fortunate to be part of Dr. Paul Vespa's research team and to contribute to the MISTIE-ICES and CLEAR clinical trials.
